Wonder if you did some cleanup that deleted you. I you use MyUninstaller and then highlight ACDsee you can right click and pick many things like "Open Entry in RegEdit" That only shows where the uninstall is at.īut it points to the Unwise.exe and also the install.log.Ĭ:\PROGRA~1\ACDSEE32\UNWISE.EXE C:\PROGRA~1\ACDSEE32\INSTALL.LOG Plus look for the "install.log" in the folder you installed ACDsee and you can get info from there. Just copy the executable file to any folder you want, and run it.īut it will show lots of info like where ACDsee uninstaller is at. It doesn't require any installation process or additional DLL's. The MyUninstaller utility is a standalone executable. It is in a zip and you just unzip it to it's own folder and click on "myuninst" and it will run. You can if ACDsee is still on installed if it is not working try MyUninstaller I mean before they even had a web site and it was shareware on a image CD I got and I could pay if I wanted to stop the nag to buy it that popped up a couple times a month for $10.00 with life time upgrades.īut I like and still use the older Classic 2.x versions and have 2.43 now. I never had any trouble with ACDsee and I have used it from the start. BUT (and this is my main concern) if I delete the ACD files, will that in any way affect, or worse, delete my photos in Picasa since they are the same photos that I export to ACD every time I upload the photos from camera. My next possible solution would be to delete all the files in the program and reinstall with the CD to see if the program will reinstall fresh. They don't show up in an app like QuickPic because of the special encoding, similar to the music downloaded from Google Music for offline listening can only be played using the Google Music app. If you have any solutions to this, that would be great. As tr-1 indicated, those photos are in a temporary cache, and are encoded so that only Google's Gallery app can read them. When I tried to open the largest file, or any file in the program it said Windows cant find the file. I tried reinstalling it with my CD of the program but it would say its updating the program. But I noticed that the program is no longer listed in Add/Remove Programs so Im assuming it was uninstalled. The information is still in my registry and the files are still listed in My Computer/ ACD folder. When I tried opening ACD it wouldnt open. This time most of the items were missing in the left panel to optimize so I clicked on one of the 3 button next to it to see whats there and to my horror it deleted everything under the word root. The other day I was having a problem moving or copying files in ACD from one folder to another, so I went to ACD Maintenance Database to optimize it as Ive done many times. When I upload my photos from my camera they go into Picasa. I found this app useful and allow me to save my photos but I cant browse friend's albums yet.I have my photos in Picasa and ACDSee 3.1. My phone model: Samsung Galaxy S LCD I9003 Is there a simple way of doing this? May be with anyother app?Įlse, If I can access the cache folder where gallery caches picasa photos, I can copy from there. So now, If I want to download a particular image of mine from picasa, I need to go to internet->picasawebalbums, browse for the same photo I can see in gallery and then download it. Alternatively If there is an option to save the image to sd card in the gallery image viewer, I will save that particular picture to my sd card when I have wifi and view it anytime anywhere. I will just be able to see the thumbnail. When I go out of wifi connection, If I try to see the picture I wont be able to because the image which was cached will be deleted and no longer available. When I am at my home with wifi, I can see the picture, show it to others. I have a good picture in my picasa web album. I don't want full sync but I want to save a pic which I see in gallery easily. In other words how to download a picture from my Picasa album to my sdcard? I can see in the gallery but not have it in my phone :( so I cannot see when I don't have wifi.
